“Exhumation”
A diptych for certain things that still move, made over the span of two summers (2023, 2024) in Zaječar and Kikinda respectively, as a final result of the workshops for Immersive sound and Sound recycling under mentorship of prof. Marko Stojanović DA, organized by the University of Arts in Belgrade.
The fist section is based on samples of the wind, crickets, and antique walls, recorded at the Felix Romuliana archeological site, which later served as “drums”, “bass”, and “pads”, over which I recorded the vocals and guitars.

The second section was created the following year, and the method was the opposite – guitar emulation of natural sounds (owl, mammoth), with a backing of a processed environment noise. The lyrics were interpreted by: Matija, Laura, Dunja, Martina, Vladica, Isidora, Frankie and Nelly.
